This is a good title, it is actually borrowed from a mac enthusiast named Darryl who wrote a post over 10 years ago. He is venting his frusturation regarding the mass adaption of mac. Things have changed “oh padawan.”

Viele waren sehr verwundert, als zur Mac World Expo San Francisco im Januar 2007 keine neue Version der Office-Suite Apple iWork vorgestellt wurde wie in den Jahren davor. Wir wurden soeben per E-Mail darüber informiert, dass sich die Auslieferung von iWork 06 verschiebt. Eine Kundin hätte ihr Paket eigentlich in diesen Tagen in Händen halten sollen, nun wurde ihr mitgeteilt, dass sie erst zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt mit der Lieferung rechnen kann. Dies wäre normalerweise ein normaler Vorgang, stünde mit der WWDC nicht ein großer Apple-Event bevor. Der neue Liefertermin ist der 12.6., also der Tag nach Steve Jobs Keynote. Dies könnte als Hinweis darauf angesehen werden, dass eventuell doch eine neue Version von iWork bevorsteht.

Ok, 2.0 is a wonderfully vague concept that most of us into tech understand, if not, see the video, HERE.

With that out of the way, let me proceed back to the pitch of this post, the rehabbing of ask.com. What is ask.com? C’mon!, it’s that sexy search engine that has all those… wait sexy? Yeah, i guess i am getting ahead of myself, Search engines can’t really be Sexy, and that is the problem.

Verdict:

Ask is trying to hard. And yeah, it’s S-L–O—-W——–Too. But wait, find out why it is good too…
