By integrating digital video recording (DVR) features into Apple TV, Apple stands to transform it’s niche media hub business into a serious growth driver worth over a billion dollars annually, according to one Wall Street analyst.

Apple on Tuesday quietly released its much-anticipate Apple TV “Take 2″ software update, which introduces a brand new on-sreen interface and allows users to rent high definition movies directly from their widescreen TVs.

Dear Real Steve Jobs,
Thank you. The iLife ’08 released today looks to be the most revolutionary media software package on earth. The iMacs… incredible, .Mac – Thank god, Numbers – expected, but thanks. All is all, iLife ’08 fills in the gaps that the Leopard keynote was missing, and then some. iMovie… who is that guy who simply came up with this idea, the idea that changed media forever? I want to buy him a gift on Facebook, and then buy him a real one, doesn’t matter what it is, a beer, candy, a rainbow, whatever he wants. He deserves it. He deserves to go on more vacations. Send him to india, the pyramids, the wall, stonehenge. I’m interested to see what he comes up with. iThink we all are.

Seriously, i need a break off from Apple, inc. i Love you all and feel free to contact me by e-mail or telephone regarding news, events, and monkeying around.

iT is reported by a reporter on mogulus.tv that they are aware of a plan to hide a camera in the store.
eGads!
When reported, the show was being conducted by “Robyn” a blond man with a European accent just prior to a coffee break. he was inside the Apple store at the time.
iWrote in my previous post that it seems a little last minute, and it certainly feels that way. While the production quality is slightly higher than the production iwas going to do, it still seems very random with full chat rooms, emtpy message boards on skype, missed mic cues, their stream blacks out, battery charges & uneventful content. Perhaps when they start interview people it will be better, but until now, i haven’t seen anything new, excepert i did the hear the reporter in the manhattan store say he was aware of a plot to hide a hidden camera. it was not reported if this would be a ploy conducted by mogulus, an apple employee, or another… agent.
iPhone Launch TV powered by Mogulus
This Friday, Mogulus will bring you 24/7 live stream coverage of the launch of one of the most anticipated product in history, Apple’s iPhone.
Broadcasting Live from New York, witness the excitement of
fans as they camp outside and stand in line at the two Apple stores
in Manhattan, just to get their hands on the revolutionary device.
Apple expects to sell over 15 million iPhones by the end of 2008.
Coverage started today at http://iphone.mogulus.com and will feature
multiple cameras and interviews starting tomorow at noon EST.
We hope you will enjoy.
This is a service i signed up for earlier in the week and at that time i hadn’t heard of this streaming event as it was not scheduled on any of their website. Last night, i got an email, and the message above is what it said.
Neither their blog, homepage, or Google calandar held any clues to this event, so this leads me to believe it was a last second decision that perhaps they got from us! Yet, i am glad that i did, as now Apple & Thunk Different fans can watch this show instead of the one i was going to do. They will have more coverage and it will be neat to see what one can do with the mogulus service as opposed to the single camera production of ustream.tv.
iHope you will enjoy.
Steve J come & rock the sure shot… with a lotta PR and a little iPhone.
Here is a short video excerpt with me speaking to, Greg Packer, the first guy in line for the iPhone. And about about the 2nd guy in line for the phone. Follow for pictures, audio, and possibly a live stream tomorrow.
Update! #2 – see what has replaced iPhone.mf show
