This is my first full blog post since the beginning of 2009, it is not my first blog post of the year, however.
I having been Microblogging Web Media on Twitter and quite enjoying it. Here are the top 100 users in Twitter’s Social Media Sphere “SMSphere” as of 1/4/2009. History
Note: as 140 characters would’ve been a perfect match for this article, these will often change and so the top 100 will do just fine. you can find and follow me on Twitter at www.Twitter.com/WebMedia

500,000+ visitors and counting.
iThink that is the mark of a good blog. A blog iSimply started as a response to a situation… it has spawned so much more and all of it for no cost to me at all. Except my time, energy and combination of the two to make the RSS subscribers happy. And speaking of happy, iAm officially happy to have reached 500,000 visitors to the web pages of Thunk Different.
Thank you readers, WordPress, Apple, the Wall Street Journal, IBM, and everyone else who has published my work and made this possible. iAm humbled, iThunk none of this was possible and wouldn’t have been with out the web & the people the make it possible… you.

(1) To write a blog entry. Blogs (definition #2 below) became so popular that the noun was turned into a verb; for example, “I’ll blog about that subject next month.” (2) (WeBLOG) A Web site that contains dated text entries in reverse chronological order (most recent first) about a particular topic. Blogs serve many purposes from online newsletters to personal journals to “ranting and raving.” They can be written by one person or a group of contributors. Entries contain commentary and links to other Web sites, and images as well as a search facility may be included. Blogs may also contain video (see vlog). “Image used with permission of GeekCulture.com”Read more media from 2.0 WEBlogs Read the rest of this entry » |

So what is the wave of the future? Sex. Simple, easy question, simple, easy answer. Without it we wouldn’t survive. How are people aware of this activity? Instincts most undoubtedly, buy who reminds you of it all the time, every, single day. – advertising! Sex sells as they say and no one knows that better than those trying to market to America, Britain, Canada, and the World about this very fact. Look at the Paris Hilton ad below, notice anything? How about that ranking today with Yahoo #2 search today & Soleil Moon Frye! (Remember Punky Brewster) Look up this and more facts at Googleverything.Blogspot.com

iRead a great post by Walt Mossberg the other day talking about the
technical and practical aspects of the Open Source, OS, Ubuntu. iDon’t really know too much about it, except that initially it is driver hell, but once over that, pretty darn tooting, aka (mnfn awesome.) So check out that post/video and download it yourself, just be sure you are comfortable with vmware or parallels products as virtual windows is free and a not compatible with the other paid software solutions.

Where to start your blog? Facebook? MySpace? A YouTube Video Blog? Hells no. WordPress baby. There is much more functionality on having a wordpress.org self
hosted blog, but WordPress.com is truly a great system. AND, unlike blogger, vox, typepad, etc. WordPress is open source. Just like parts of Leopard. So get wth the program and lets make the EFF, W3c, and that important committee that sets internet standards happy and keep it fresh, clean, and open source. Self-less WordPress plug, go go godzilla!
How tall is Godzilla?
Where does he go after a fight?
Why does he fight?
Has he been to France?
Is Godzilla really a male, can a god be male?
All this and more, beginning here. Godzilla’s favorite weblog, just follow the rabbit.
