Thunk Different Podcast: Zeta (new service in motion, not official)

i took the audio off-line for service. (6/7/2007)

i have been podcasting for over a year. I have never tried the talkshoe service before, i did today, the jury is out. no editing, strangers call in, strangers text you but don’t talk, the jury is out.

Anyway, check it out: HERE

parallels, wordpress, USB, 2.0, Camino 1.5, etc.

PS i am a fan of transparency, so i’m posting this, but, PLEASE KNOW this is not how i have done things before, check out an old show of mine HERE.

Great song if you can handle the audio & visual hipness.

    Thanks, i Think.

Well, it wasn’t really a show, just an example of what i think is a typical experience on the talkshoe service. i knew i was going to have to work with the service the second i started recording and the music came on. It was abrupt and the audio quality was pretty low. However there were some bright points.

    The guest.

I am glad Taylor decided to speak up, i didn’t do any PR for the show and he turned out to be an interesting guest for me. Just where was his accent from? i’ll have to ask next time if he calls in.
As a random call in he was pretty entertaining right off the bat, i believe my first question was, “Do you have any questions?” and then he answered “No.” i thought that was pretty funny.
There were a few people in the queue that didn’t speak up and i’ll try a few more times with random guests to see how i do, then i will likely record the podcasts through other services, like the open source Audacity, Apple’s Garageband, or maybe a a combinations of the services. i have found it to be pretty entertaining in the past, looking for the right music, mixing, and the like.
Anyway, the TalkShoe was raw, live, and uncut. 2 out 5 stars.
